Sometimes the best dreams are the ones that grow into something far bigger than you ever imagined.
We are Jason and Sarah, the owners of 3H Farms — Hensley’s Heavenly Highlands, a veteran-owned family farm in beautiful Bell Buckle, Tennessee.
Both Texas natives, our journey has taken us from Texas to South Carolina, Maryland, and finally Tennessee — the place we chose to put down our roots and call home.
Jason proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, but long before that, he was a Texas boy who grew up bottle-feeding calves. Owning land and raising cattle was something he had dreamed about for years. When we purchased our property five years ago, we knew cattle would someday be part of it.
What we didn't know was just how much that dream would grow.
Around the same time we bought our farm, we were blessed with our first granddaughter, Hensley. She changed our lives — and she gave that dream an even greater purpose.
Jason wanted to build something that could one day be part of the legacy we leave for her. We put our heads and our hearts together, and Hensley’s Heavenly Highlands was born — 3H Farms.
What began as a dream of having a few cattle has become something much bigger: a place where we can share the animals we love, welcome people into our little piece of Tennessee, and create experiences and memories that families can carry home with them.
From the beginning, we knew we didn't want to create a traditional petting zoo.
We wanted something smaller, more personal and more meaningful.
That's why we call what we offer experiences.
Our guests aren't simply coming to look at animals. We want them to slow down, interact, laugh, learn, make memories and experience something that can be difficult to find in our busy world:
Peace.
There is something incredibly peaceful about standing in a pasture surrounded by animals. For a little while, the noise of the outside world seems to disappear. Our animals have brought that feeling into our lives, and one of our greatest joys is being able to share it with others.
At the end of March 2026, we decided we were going to stop talking about the dream and start building it.
And we haven't stopped since.
When we say this farm has been built with blood, sweat and tears, we mean that quite literally!
We've worked through some of the hottest months Tennessee could give us. We've gotten bruised, scratched, sunburned and exhausted. We've lost weight, learned lessons, changed plans and probably asked ourselves more than once what in the world we had gotten ourselves into.
Jason has personally driven the fence posts and poured countless hours of physical labor into building this farm.
I told him, “I have never worked this hard in my life.”
His response?
“I haven't worked this hard since Marine Corps boot camp.”
That pretty much sums up our summer!
But when we look across our property today and see what we've created together, every sore muscle and every drop of sweat has been worth it.
We are incredibly proud of this farm, and even more proud of the animals who call it home. They aren't simply part of our business. We know them. We love them. They are part of our family and part of the story of 3H Farms.
Above everything else, we know we didn't get here alone.
God has been good to us.
We have been blessed with the opportunity, the land, the animals, the strength and the people who helped make this dream possible.
We also honor the memory of Jason's mother, Delores Ann Hudson, whose hard work planted a seed that helped make what we have today possible. Her legacy is woven into the story of this farm, and we are grateful to be able to honor her here.
And to our family and friends who have shown up, worked beside us, encouraged us, supported our crazy ideas and believed in this dream — thank you. There are simply no words big enough to express how grateful we are.
We love Bell Buckle and everything this small Tennessee community represents — hospitality, tradition, family and people coming together.
We are honored to become a small part of that story.
Our hope is that when you visit 3H Farms, you don't simply remember the animals you met.
We hope you remember how you felt while you were here.
We hope you laughed.
We hope you slowed down.
We hope you made a memory with someone you love.
And we hope, even if only for a little while, you stood in the middle of our farm and felt the same peace these animals have given us.
We have big dreams for this little farm, and what you see today is only the beginning.
We will continue to grow, continue to dream, continue to create new experiences and continue building the legacy that started with one little girl named Hensley.
Welcome to 3H Farms
